Newtown Theatre is the oldest continuously operational movie theatre in America and is located at 120 North State Street in Newtown, PA.

We will have 2 local craft beers for you to try at the theatre. If you'd like to grab a bite to eat after or want to try one of the 33 beers on tap at the Temperance House, just walk a half block to the right as you exit the theatre. We hope you will tell your friends and neighbors and plan a fun (and educational!) night out on the town.

Join Provisions Magazine for a screening of the film “Poured in PA,” a feature-length documentary about Pennsylvania’s beer industry. The film features interviews with many notable breweries, including Centre County’s own Elk Creek Cafe + Aleworks and Otto’s Pub & Brewery.
This event will feature complimentary beer from those breweries as well as wood-fired pizza by Happy Valley Chef and Revival Kitchen‘s nearly famous popcorn.
