MEET THE CREW

Danielle Hartman

Host

Danielle is the host of Poured in PA: The Series. She graduated from Millersville University, studied Digital Photography at PCAD, and is currently the Sr. Production Artist at Godiva Chocolatier. She became involved with Poured in PA by supporting the full-length documentary and her love of beer. Be sure to ask her about the 8-minute long audition video that had to be cut down 3 times! When she's not introducing you to a new PA Brewery, you can find her modeling local ads, supporting live music, or boxing her heart out at the gym.

What has been your favorite thing about working on Poured in PA?

First and foremost, working with such an enthusiastic team! Also, getting an up close and personalized look at the stories behind the breweries I already love and finding out about ones I never knew existed. Plus, getting to drink all of the cans I crack open at the end of each episode!

What’s been a rewarding aspect of working on Poured in PA?

Being part of a team that provides a platform to share some of the lesser-known stories of the people behind the industry. 'Poured in PA' really brings out the true personality behind the breweries so you feel like you're visiting an old friend versus a business establishment.

What has been your favorite thing about working on Poured in PA?

My favorite part of this project has been meeting the people who make up this industry. Many of them have become great friends.

Any interesting beer-related facts about you?

My wife and I brewed a Saison for our wedding with our friends at Zeroday. The beer featured roses from our garden and was called Une Nouvelle Saison (French for "a new season"). You can find me on Untappd @NateKresge

I really enjoy the people in the beer industry.  Everyone we meet, no matter how big/small their operation, always seems to be down to earth and laid back, and they are always very hospitable towards us.

The most rewarding aspect of working on Poured in PA?

It feels great being able to tell people’s stories.  So many people quit their jobs or change careers and really go all-in on working in the brewing industry, and that makes me appreciate it that much more.

Rebecca Lessner

Photographer | Social Media Manager

Rebecca has worked in several photography, journalism, and art scenes, covering events from presidential campaigns to students electro-fishing in Pennsylvania creek beds. She studied Photojournalism during her undergrad studies in Pittsburgh at Point Park University, where she returned to complete her master’s in Multimedia Communications with a focus on Environmental Journalism. Bartending her way through college, Rebecca loved her side hustle of working in breweries, where building relationships with customers over freshly poured drafts sparked her continuing love for craft beer, meeting new characters, and sharing their stories.

What are your favorite kinds/styles of beer?

I started with IPA's, which was a sort of backward route to craft beer. Now I'm getting away from hops and loving the darker styles. I'm more of a high ABV and richer flavor kind of drinker. Give me barrel-aged stouts or barley wines. But I'm also never going to say no to a beer, whatever the style!

What’s been a rewarding aspect of working on Poured in PA?

Honestly, the team is awesome and I'm very excited to be working with such a kind group of creative individuals. Everyone here is focused on creating amazing content to deliver work we can be proud of every time. Putting those values first is what keeps jobs meaningful and enjoyable.
